China's space industry was founded in 1956. For decades, China's space industry has created one miracle after another. In 1970, China successfully launched its first artificial earth satellite, becoming the fifth country in the world to independently develop and launch artificial earth satellites. In 1992, China started the manned spaceflight program. In 2003, China successfully launched the "Shenzhou 5" manned spacecraft, making China the third country to launch a manned spacecraft. In 2007, "Chang 'e-1", the first man-made satellite lunar-orbiting the moon, was launched. In 2013, the fifth manned spacecraft "Shenzhou 10" was successfully launched, which laid the foundation for the construction of China's space station.
