Neither...nor...
不是...也不是
第一种就是“Neither...nor...”。比如:She likes neither butter nor cheese.(她既不喜欢黄油也不喜欢乳酪。)
但正确表达是直接用or的否定句型就好了。比如:I don’t want cake or ice cream for dessert.(我不要蛋糕或冰淇淋当甜点)或者I don’t want either.(我也是。)
那什么时候能用neither呢?比如:
A:I don’t like ice cream.我不喜欢冰淇淋B:Me neither/Me either.我也不喜欢。
后者Me either虽然我们可能会认为这个不正确,但是这在口语日常生活中却是比较多见。
Although/though
虽然
在平时口语中,我们经常会用though,Although比较常用于比较正式的场合或者语境。
一般在口语表达中,很少用though作为一个句子的开头,因为听起来过于正式还有僵硬。
如果需要把though放在开头,那么可加上even,也就是even though,比如:even though it was raining, we still went on a hike.(尽管在下雨,我们还是去远足了。)
此外,Though还可以这么用:The party was boring, but the food was pretty good though.(聚会很无聊,但是食物很好吃。)

别听他们胡说八道,根本就没那回事。

正确:I learned a lot in university.
我遇到了很多困难。I am having many difficulties.
正确:I am having a few problems / lots of problems.
Present? Presentate? Presentation?
