1.glance at 看一下，浏览；提到，影射

e.g. I glance at him.  我瞥了他一眼

Let's take a quick glance at the plug-in manifest file. 让我们快速浏览一下插件清单文件。

glance down 朝下看一看

e.g. That way, the driver can glance down and take it in. 这样司机往下看就能知道路线。

2.glance through 浏览

e.g. On the bus I always glance through the paper. 在公共汽车上，我经常浏览报纸。

3.glance over 浏览；简略阅读

e.g. I've only had time to glance over your work. 时间只允许我浏览一下你的作业。

4.glance on/off sth 

( of light 光 ) to flash on a surface or be reflected off it  在…上闪烁（或闪耀）；从…中反射

5.glance ˈoff (sth)   

to hit sth at an angle and move off it in a different direction  斜向击中（某物）后改变方向

e.g. The ball glanced off the post into the net. 球击中门柱后弹入网内。
